RKA was able to build these decks outside of each restaurant adjacent to the sidewalks so as not to disrupt foot traffic. After the floor of the decks were in place, RKA was about to wall the area in so that guests are not interrupted by traffic from the street. In between each table area, a partition was added to socially distance each party of diners from each other. RKA was also able to install duct work with the decks so that heat could be run through the structure to ensure that guests are able to stay warm while enjoying their meal. The combination of the sanded wood deck, the metal roof, and the hanging lights creates a fun, farmhouse-chic ambiance that has become ever-so popular.
