Translating to “Locust Street” in Italian, this offering from the Schulson Collective features specialty pasta dishes. The elegantly detailed glass and mahogany entrance to the historic building brings light into the space and sets the tone for the restaurant interior.

Key design elements include a 40-seat dining room, a bi-level kitchen with a window on the second floor overlooking the prep area, and a 10-seat custom bar.

RKA’s project approach recognized that any alterations to the exterior, including the mahogany entrance and micro-doors, had to be approved by the Philadelphia Historical Commission. We were also prepared to handle the installation of multiple access panels throughout the interior to conceal mechanical elements while also preserving the intimate feel of the space.
