The Hadley opened at Park Towne Place on the Ben Franklin Parkway in October 2019. The American bar-restaurant’s mid-century modern design was evocative of 1959, when the complex was built. The palette of colors and materials was bright, luxe, playful, and sophisticated, all at the same time, and bold geometric patterns in finishes and furnishings brought it all together.

RKA was tasked with constructing the restaurant with minimal disruption to the residential building, which remained fully operational for tenants during the work. We also surmounted difficulties with low ceiling clearances by increasing the depth of the floor. 

Although The Hadley has since closed, we remain proud of the work we did there.
