1920 Merch Co. sells T-shirts and other souvenirs commemorating the 19th Amendment and women’s voting rights. Its location in the Terminal B/C Connector is the first airport store for the Nashville-based company. 

RKA had an opportunity to create an eye-catching space while responding to the unique needs of this client. Tasks included installation of new access panels that secured the electrical wiring and allowed for maintenance access, and a lighting package that featured custom pendant light fixtures in the center of the space.

 
Executing the design also encompassed a new cash wrap; wall-mounted shelving units installed around the perimeter of the space that left the existing brick tile wall exposed; and a new storefront that features a copper penny “tile” backdrop for the company’s logo. ​​
